Posted - 09/04/2006 : 11:57:56 When I print out the color grid, my DMC numbers are mixed with characters (#, $, (, etc). The numbers for Anchor and Coates are accurate. I am using PC Stitch 5.0 for the first time. My computer has Windows XP, not 95/98 as the box states. Could that cause the problem? I love the program and created my downloaded picture pattern with ease, it's just those darn DMC numbers. Can anyone help please. Thanks. |

Posted - 09/14/2006 : 14:20:04 Have you downloaded the latest maintenance update for the PCStitch 5 software to make sure you are on the last version? Go to the Customer Service page at www.pcstitch.com and you can get the update file.

Posted - 09/08/2006 : 14:10:51 When I look at the floss palette and place my cursor over any particular color, the DMC numbers are correct. When I print out the color grid, the floss numbers for Anchor and Coates are correct. The list for DMC is as follows: "10 for black rather than 310, #15 for mauve rather than 315, $70 for mustard, %51 for shell grey rather than 451, etc. The DMC list should be all numbers, no characters. I'm lost. Thanks for any help that you can provide. |

Posted - 09/08/2006 : 10:45:08 Windows XP didn't exist when PCStitch 5 was written, which is why the OS is incorrect during the installation, but that shouldn't be causing any problems.
I'm not sure I understand the problem. Can you give me a specific example of what it looks like?
