All of a sudden I cannot print any of my patterns. I have version 9 on two different computers and cannot print from either computer. Does anyone know why this could be happening? I have a pattern I really need to print up so I can get the supplies and start it next weekend.

Good to know! I may just try that then. It's just strange that this is the only program that we're having trouble with and that it's on both computers. Thank you for all your help.

Uninstalling and re-installing the product will NOT affect your patterns. They should not be in the same folders as the product anyway (normally Program Files or Program Files (x86).

It's worth a try to see if that fixes the problem.

Tried that and it didn't work. I'm wondering if I need to uninstall the program and reinstall it again, but I don't want to lose my patterns. I've e-mailed the company and am waiting to hear back from them.

Debra,

It sounds like the problem my friend had. Her printer gave her a notice that the color cartridge was not seated properly. While trying to fix that one, she inadvertently pulled the black cartridge first and when she put it back in, did not seat it properly. She got no notice but printing from ONE location (in this case Fox-It) was either non-existant or very slow. When she carefully removed each cartridge and re-seated it and tried again, it's worked fine ever since.

I suggest you try that. It can't hurt. If that doesn't work, then I suggest you check with Mark. I have no more ideas! You ran me dry!

The only thing that was changed since I printed my last pattern a month or so ago is the black ink cartridge. We haven't changed any peramaters on anything. We can print everything we want with the exception of the patterns.

It sounds like you have changed something in the print parameters - maybe the printer to be use or some other option.

I can do a print from the help section of the program, but not the patterns. It's just the patterns that suddenly stopped printing.

If it has been working but is suddenly failing, that implies it's the printer involved. Can you print to it from other applications? Check your printer specifications. You may have them re-directed to a non-printing mode.

Is your printer turned on?

Try a reboot and also try to reset your cartridges in your printer. I know of one person who was having a terrible time printing. When it would print, it would take like 30 minutes for one page. Once she reseated her cartridges, it works fine.
