I have PC Stitch version 6.04.16. I can't open certain downloaded .pat files. I get "Error Code 1".
I have Pattern Viewer version 7.2.3 and can't open certain downloaded .pat files. I get "Error Code 53" and "pcs7.dll not found".
Are there solutions to these problems? |

If the pattern was saved in PCStitch 7, you can't open it with PCStitch 6, which may explain the Error Code 1 message.
I'm not sure about the Pattern Viewer errors. If you want to send me one that you can't open, I will take a look at it for you.

When you get "Error Code 1, chances are that it cannot be opened with PC Stitch but needs Pattern Maker Viewer which you can download for free from Hobbyware athttp://www.hobbyware.com/pm_downloads.htm. Don't know if that will also help/work with Error Code 53" and "pcs7.dll not found".
