Although I bought this program several years ago, I have just gotten around to using it in the past few weeks. I have a beautiful picture of my grandsons which I am xstitching for my daughter and her husband.

This may be a silly question, but I'm a grandma, and I'm allowed to be silly. Is there a way for 4.0 to insert backstitches on the pattern? Does the latest version do this?

I'm a pretty proficient xstitcher, but I've never tried adding my own backstitch. The picture is coming out pretty well, but I think bs is needed to offset large areas of one color, particularly on the faces.

Thanks for your help!

You definitely can enter your own backstitches with Standard (version 7) and with Pro (version 8). I have NO idea about your version because the first version I used was 7.
