Newbie here, but didn't see anything in help that answered my question. I would like to design my own canvas by putting two graphic images on one canvas. Can I do this in PC Stitch? I can import the files into Word and combine them there but PC stitch won't recognize rtf files.
Tried to do this in MS Paint and was unable to put both graphic images into one file.

There is a way with PCStitch with Pro but maybe not with Standard. You have to import both images separately. Then put them together into a single pattern. To do this you would either create a new pattern with dimensions at least as large as the two separate patterns together or enlarge one enough to fit the other one with it. Then copy onto your pattern either both (first case) or the "other" (second case) to go with the first one. I think Standard 9 supports copies between patterns but 7 does not.
It is a complicated scenario.
You CAN merge two images into one with Paint, I've done it. Just enlarge the "dimensions" of one to make room for the other and then copy it into place.
PCstitch does NOT support non graphics formats and rtf is not a graphics format. For that matter, I don't recommend rtf files because when you edit them with word, the files are HUGE - much larger than doc files.
Keep in mind that the BEST imports into PCStitch involve tiny images. The best imports have 1 pixel to 1 stitch and if you put 2 images together, your resulting file may result in too large a pattern in this kind of scenario.
