I'm a new user on PCStitch Pro. I have imported a picture that I am in the process of stitching and several of the blocks are "blank" on the print out. There is already a color of "snow white" within the "key". Do I also print the "blanks" with white? Sorry for such a basic question.

Also, is there a way to have the "outline" function outline major items and not each individual color? One of my subjects is wearing a sport jacket and the program is telling me to outline each color and not just the jacket.

Thanks for any help and I love this program.

Actually the "blank squares" appear in a section that is already labeled as "snow white". I'm assuming that you either do not stitch in these squares as they are already on white canvas or you can just stitch them white also.?.?

As far as the backstitching, I'll just outline the major components of the design.

Thanks for your input

Assuming that you have printed it out with symbols (or with colour blocks and symbols) check from your file does that colour have a symbol attached to it. If not, I'd recommend pointing one to it.
Unless you have modified the design so that there is blank areas. I'd recommend to check your design's file to get the answers.

When it comes to backstitching your only option is, as far as I know (I don't do importing so I don't have any actual experience on the matter), to draw backstitch where desired. Software can't "see" the picture same way we do.
