Posted - 02/25/2007 : 11:04:14 I haven't tried adding note to specialty stitches before latest update, but today I did it and every single time I try to close the pattern (without or with saving) I get pop-up with following: quote: Unable to cast object of type 'PCStitch_Pro_2.aInstructionNote' to type 'PCStitch_Pro_2.aNote'. at PCStitch_Pro_2.aPattern.Dispose(Boolean disposing) at PCStitch_Pro_2.frmPAttern.frmPattern_Closing(Object sender, CancelEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCLosing(CAncelEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmClose(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
With button Ok. And if I try to close the program after clicking Ok it does not work as it goes back to the loop of Save? -> error...
Fortunately there is always our beloved friend Task Manager...

Posted - 02/25/2007 : 13:19:00 I was finally able to duplicate the problem. It was "fun" trying to get PCStitch to close afterward!
I have sent an email to Mark on the problem with a link to this thread for the full error message.
This one was weird since the key change (instruction note) should not be saved with the pattern.

Posted - 02/25/2007 : 12:20:18 I just tried to duplicate it (full screen pattern and windowed pattern) and it did not give me an error.

Posted - 02/25/2007 : 12:13:50 Thanks for posting the full error message. I'm sure Mark can find it with that.
Some of those error messages are BIG!
