I just purchased pro via downloading the trial version & getting the unlocking code. I brought up one of the patterns already in pro and made a few changes then hit the save button and I'm getting an error message says acces to path ..........is denied. Are we not allowed to make any changes to existing patterns?

Also I'm trying to open an existing pattern from my old version (4.0) and I'm getting an "invalid file format" error.

I'm really discouraged at the moment cuz I just bought something and it won't "go" and do what I need it to do...should I have just stayed with my agent version that was working fine???

Any help would be fantastic!!

The folder where the samples are stored may be protected and/or the file is set as "read only". In that case, you cannot just click on SAVE. You might try Save As and specify a different folder and file name to your modified pattern.

Remember that when you modify a pattern like this, it is for YOUR use only and should not be given to anybody EVER. The copyright remains with the original designer.

As for your version 4 problem. I don't know. It may be that Pro only recognizes back so far (at least to version 5). Only Mark or one of his staff can answer that question.
