I have made a graph from a photograph but now I want to add the backstitching. How do I go about that?

Since the import feature does not handle any of the special stitches, including backstitching, you have to manually add it under the topic of "tweaking".

Just put the backstitch lines in what ever color you want where you think it is needed. You can add fractional stitches at the same time.

I recommend frequent use of the "View Pattern" command. Do a little, view it, do a little more ... Each time be prepared to undo some of the lines you have put in if you don't like the effect.

This is where the "art" of the craft comes into play!

Good Luck!

Diane
