I am trying out 11 pro and can not make a pattern with the symbols. I would like to print the pattern with the symbols and without the symbols. Since you can not print in the try it version I can not see if it will automatically print a symbol pattern.

Cynthia,

When you print a pattern, you can select just how it is to be printed in several ways including the stitches and backstitches and then the legend and instruction.

For printing the gridded pattern, you have the options of: Symbols, Color Blocks, Symbols over color, Stitches, Virtual Stitches, Floss Color Symbols, and None. The only good for "None" that I can think of, is to get just the legend and instructions.

For backstitches, there are more options such as floss color with and without lines.

Just for info - it's not 11 pro, it's just 11. That's because there is no "standard", it's all one high-level product.
