Is there any way to set a font and font size in the general options so you don't have to select them every time you enter instructions for a pattern? My PCStitch seems to select Microsoft Sans Serif 8.25 as a default, and I'd like it to come up as Arial 10 as the default. Is it possible to do this?

There is no way to do this now, but I will log it as a feature request.

I see that, but this applies to the printed instructions only. I'm referring to the font as it appears on the pop-out instruction screen. The font and font size appears in the toolbar above the design screen, and if you select your font there, it changes the font in the on-screen intructions. I would like to be able to select a default font there so that I don't have to select it for each new pattern.

hi, if you go under the tools menu and select options then you can set the default font for the symbols as well as the instructions...
hope this helps..
