Posted - 01/26/2017 : 08:07:24 Hello, I am very new to this and so far I think I have done alright, I have purchased the full version and I would like to know more on how I go about finishing, how do I save it, how to convert it into a pattern to print off so its ready to go? This is the final bit I am stuck on now, also will it include the thread codes on the pattern, many thanks Linzy |

Posted - 01/26/2017 : 12:33:52 To save the file, just select "save". That creates a .pat file for the correct version. If you change that file, it renames the old copy to .bak and creates a new .pat file.
You can share that .pat file with anybody you want but they must have PCStitch of at least your version to be able to load it. You (or anybody else) can print the file to use that way. The printed copy will have a legend showing the symbols and colors needed. I recommend you at least do a print preview so you can see how it looks and adjust the print preferences to suit you.
As for other versions, you need an external virtual printer to create a PDF and then just "print" to that special printer. Adobe and Foxit both come with virtual printers for this purpose.
