I have a basic question..I just downloaded the free version to 'try it out' before purchasing it. After several hours of playing with it (you would think I am an engineer for not reading the instructions first) I decided to read the tutorial and the forums. some have helped, some have not. I still don't find this very user friendly. I think I might still be doing something wrong but I can honestly say that I wish I had the ability to take some small pic in the library and play with it to the point of converting and printing it out for an 'end result' to see how it works. I cannot do so and thus, am considering that I won't buy such a product if I can't use it first to try it out. Can you help me out on this? I understand that you don't want to give out worthwhile ability for obvious reasons, but there should be one chart/image that we should be able to convert to the point of completion.

Thanks

Resa,

If you go through the Import tutorial in the help file, you can do everything but print the pattern that you import. You can even change your stitch display to symbols so you can get a pretty good idea on the screen how the printout will look.

You can also print any of the sample patterns as long as they haven't been modified, so you can see exactly what the printouts look like.
