I just upgraded a little while ago. It took FOREVER (about 30 minutes) to downlowd 6.3 Mb and I'm on Broadband!

I looked at the fixes and had to try a few. Only time will tell me if the memory leak has been plugged.

The backstich overlay does work. I test that first. However, the duplicated bead problem still exists. I add a few beads. and then copied so one was completely on top of another. I checked the floss usage before and after and where the number of beads should have gone up by one, it went up by two showing the overlayed bead still counted as two.

I especially like the fix of the display of the backstitch. Seeing straight lines instead of slightly crooked ones.

My only question is why does the download take so long?!?!?!

The download took me all of 5 minutes and that was with a reboot afterwards. Must be your system Diane.

Mark - I do have a question for you. Are we expected to re-register everytime we download an upgrade? Or is this a window I can get rid of forever? Thanks.

I think we were experiencing some internet problems at about the same time as we posted the last update. I think it should be better now.

Renee,

I didn't have any trouble doing the upgrade, it just took a lot of time. I did it from the menu option within PCStitch. I have never had a problem with pop-ups and junk when upgrading known software. I don't know how much my firewall (ZoneAlarm Free) helped out. I do nothave the latest ZoneAlarm because it doesn't support ME.

I downloaded my update also... took two tries... the first went crazy when I tried to install got a ton of pop ups telling me of all kinds of errors and to delete internet history, reboot then try again.
The second time I downloaded the update manually from the Home page and then installed it with no problems...
