Hi, I have a question about trying to get an accurate reading of anything with the color green (and yellow) together. When I try to import something that's primarily green, it's not showing up properly. Could it be a problem with the software, or with my computer or is it just DMC floss limitations? Any other color without pattern green is fine.

Here are a few examples. Anyone else have this problem? Every other color besides green is fine.
(This is the one I'm primarily concerned about.)

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The real problem is that the computer sees color differently than you do. sometimes, if you have shadings, you hit a limit to the number of shades of that color so you end up with something a bit off the wall - such as yellow when you're doing a total white/black image (I did that).

Remember that the import of the image is JUST THE FIRST STEP! It's never intended to be an accurate representation of your pattern. You are expected to tweak to get what you want. If there are any colors you don't like, simply replace them (all) with a color you want! If you have stitches where you don't want them, remove them. You'll most likely have to remove or change confetti stitches. Imports are famous for those!

Basically, play with what you are given to get what you want. And --- have fun!

Good Luck,

Diane
