I accepted the pattern in 28 count, was wondering how to change to 14 count without redoing the pattern.

There are two ways to look at your question.

In the first place - regardless of what you said when you imported an image, you can actually stitch using any count you wish. The only affects you will see is in the amount of floss needed and the size of the result. Changing from 28 count to 14 count will make an image 4 times the size (twice width and twice height). I don't know how to convert that to the amount of floss needed.

In the other situation, if you want it the same size as your original image, you will have to re-scan it because it will be more "blocky" because you're trying to squeeze the same amount if image into half the "pixels" (read as stitches).
