Hi everyone,

I'm new to using PCStitch and very excited to check it out! I've made my first design and it's gone well, except that I don't know how to specify which floss is used for which line of backstitch/blackwork. How do you do this? Is it even possible?

I would very much appreciate any help!

Saira

You can define your color and then select what stitch to use. There's a special mark for backstitch. If you hold the ctrl button while you start the backstitch, you can "chain" them and only have to click on the end point of each stitch which becomes the start point of the next one. As for the display, you can select a type of display to mark different colors or just have them display in color.

I recommend you just "play" with the software for a while. Click on options, see what they do. Just play around. You can learn a lot doing this.
