Is there a way to have different strand counts in one design? I need both xstitch and bs in one design. Thanks

You can define backstitch for a different strand count than cross-stitch using the Floss Properties palette (3 one possible on the left side by default). You can set the count for each type of stitch. A default is provided which you can change in the options.
