Posted - 05/25/2020 : 09:05:52 Where am I going wrong? I try to put a graphic into a pattern and am getting a plain pink preview and a pink covered chart.
This is my first attempt at anything. The PDF document didn't download with the software for some reason.
Thanks.

Posted - 05/25/2020 : 12:56:47 Thanks for that. The PDF isn't there, but I found help files for Windows 10, so I expect they're the same.
I've been following the tutorials, some of the instructions seem to be a bit different for the newest version but I'm getting there!
Your tips regarding the import etc look interesting, I'll have another go later. I'm determined to beat this :)
Thanks for your fast help, much appreciated.

Posted - 05/25/2020 : 09:34:55 Are you sure you didn't get the PDF? Check the folder where the product installed.
For further info - There is a tutorial available. I recommend that, as a new user, you go through that tutorial for the basics.
As for your pink problem - check the parameters for importing - including the preview options and other items such as desired pattern size and number of colors.
One BIG tip - if you are importing, make the import image TINY! Re-size it to as close as possible to the size in pixels as the desired pattern is in stitches! That makes a 1-1 ratio of pixels to stitches and results in the best imported pattern. Also, remember that any import is JUST the first step. It is never intended to be the final pattern. Tweaking on your part is required because of the limits to software that cannot be overcome.
