Is there a way to get an updated floss list for DMC Etoile threads or Threadworx overdyed floss?

Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't check the earlier part of the thread. The response is still the same -- the only thing that might work for a bulk entry is to check out the format of the file.

I have absolutely no idea. I've never used the feature. You might look at the file created and determine if you could create the file manually and just stick it in.

BTW, 2 years is "new", especially when compared with DMC. There was a program that would convert flosses from one brand to another but it is no longer supported (abandonware) and it doesn't even list that brand.

Although the software is updated for bug fixes, it is rarely updated between versions for changes in flosses since the users can create that themselves.

How new is this DMC floss? I currently have 5 DMC flosses in the list but I do have the myriaCross floss lists for PCStitch. Unfortunately, myriaCross is no longer in business so the lists I have are no longer available for others (for copyright reasons, I am unable to offer the floss palettes I have).

Also, the floss lists that are included are those that are most popular. If the one you use is not one of those popular groups, it may or may not be included.

I am considering using the DMC Etoile in a project. Since so much of the DMC line is in PCStitch, I would expect to see all of their colors in there. Is PCStitch not updated anymore?

I doubt that any floss lists are normally updated. Since myriaCross is no longer active, you cannot get updates that way. The only way you can do it is to create your own floss definitions using the floss editor. How you merge them with existing floss lists, I don't know.

You might check with the manufacturer of those flosses and ask if they have a floss palette compatible with PCStitch that you can just copy over into the flosses list.
