I just purchased version 11 for a new laptop that has never had the program on it before. In installed 11 and opened it up. I went into the help file to find out how to use the unlock key but I don't have a Register & Unlock command like it said I would. Am I missing something or is it going to let me run it full for a set time and then require the unlock key?

If you installed from a CD, there is no registration. However, if you installed from a download, there should have been.

When you opened the product, did the splash screen say it was registered, and to whom?

I had the exact same situation when I installed the product on my new Win 10 desktop a few months ago. I noticed that there was no option for the registration/unlocking. I checked again and noticed when it came up, it said it was registered -- to someone else!

I contacted Mark and found that when it first installs, it "phones home" and looks for a supposedly unique identifier for your system. It found one for mine but it wasn't unique -- it was for someone else! Mark cleared it and I was able to register normally. I think I had to uninstall/reinstall but i don't remember for sure.

If it shows registered to someone else, try the contact point with details, including who it is registered to. If it's not registered but has no register option, then try uninstalling and reinstalling and if that doesn't work, use contact us!

There is no such thing as a stupid question

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it is showing as registered to Name removed by Admin for privacy reasons, whoever she is. I went ahead and emailed customer care. Thank you so much for responding to my post!
