Posted - 02/11/2020 : 23:50:30 I created a pattern for 18 ct aida. but in the pattern infomation it does not say what size aida cloth to use, just inches and stitches am I missing a setting? Thank you Zeldalee

Posted - 02/12/2020 : 07:41:42 when you create a new pattern, you can give some basic information about the pattern beginning with the number of stitches in the width and the height of the pattern.
You also give the size of the stitches. The default is for a square weave so only the horizontal stitch size is needed. If you are doing 18 count, then just put 18 in that field.
You set the defaults for the starting fields in the options section of the program. Then they are available for use as is or modification in the Pattern Properties part of the actual pattern.
