Posted - 05/04/2019 : 22:55:43 Just bought the software this week and finished my first pattern. I go to print and get “object reference not set to an instance of an object” error. Very frustrating! I looked online and followed others suggestions of uninstalling and reinstalling but that hasn’t helped. Trying to print to PDF. |

Posted - 05/07/2019 : 20:09:35 I guess they haven't fixed the Microsoft PDF printer yet! Have fun with printing (try setting it to the Foxit printer).

Posted - 05/07/2019 : 15:13:33 What PDF printer do you have as your default? Could it have been set to the Microsoft version? That sounds like the problem they had before. How they got around it, I don't know. Maybe by disabling the PDF printer from the Windows Control Panel.

Posted - 05/07/2019 : 14:48:33 I submitted a ticket on Sunday morning. Hoping to hear back ASAP. I don’t think trying another printer will work, I can’t even get to the options to select what printer I go to. The second I hit the print icon the error message pops up. |

Posted - 05/07/2019 : 07:49:57 I don't have Windows 10 but, as I said, there have been reported issues of printing to PDF in that environment. I suggest you use the Contact Us point and ask Mark about it. I also suggest you try another printer (even a true printer) to see if that works.
I know that the ONLY way I can print in my older Win 7 environment is to use Print to PDF (with Foxit). The HP drivers I have will only actually print from Foxit or IE. Everything else requires Print to PDF and then print FROM PDF to actually get it on paper.

Posted - 05/05/2019 : 07:45:43 The problem may not be PCStitch. What version of Windows are you running? There was a problem a while back with the default PDF printer with Windows 10. I suggest you try printing otherwise to see if that works. Or, try a different PDF printer. I use the one that's built into Foxit. Foxit is free and works great as an adobe "clone" (it has a smaller footprint).
