Posted - 04/05/2018 : 04:12:19 Hi, I have used both stitches and also size(inches and cm) but the patterns do not come out at either the sizes I dial. they are both smaller, why is this please? Its infuriating when I take time to check all the colours only to find when I go to start the cross stitch it fat to small.
Also quite a few of the colours the program chooses are either very dark or for example "flesh tones are bright pink". I therefore have to change the DMC colours.

Posted - 04/05/2018 : 07:52:43 I'm not sure what you mean that the patterns don't come out the sizes you "dial".
You set the stitch dimensions and if it's smaller, then you are not filling out the entire stitch field you set and you can reduce that. For physical size, the display is not "real life". It's just for visual purposes. You zoom in just so you can do create the pattern or see the pattern for your own ease.
As for the colors chosen and shown. Remember that the computer sees colors differently than you do. Color changes by you during an import of an image to a pattern process are absolutely normal. The computer software just gives you the first-best approximation of what's needed and you take it from there. If you're saying that the display of a color doesn't match the actual color, that's the definition of the color and if that needs to be changed for the software, please let Mark know the "correct" definition of the color so it can be fixed in a future update.
