How can I superimpose a picture onto another one-a car onto a street-and move it around before I create the graph?

You can but it has to be done externally to PCStitch. If you use a graphics program you can manipulate the two images to get what you want.

The other alternative is to make 2 patterns, one for each image and make each pattern an "object". Then move the objects around over each other until you get what you want and then merge both into the background to revert back to single stitches.

There is no such thing as a stupid question
