Posted - 11/05/2017 : 22:21:57 Your problem is the PROGRAM, not a pattern.
Do you have something like Revo Uninstaller? They have a free version but it's not available for a 64 bit machine. If so, I suggest you use that for the uninstall. It does more than the simple uninstall - it clears out extra files and registry entries.
If you have a "cleaner" software like CCleaner (it does have a free version for 64 bit machines), I suggest that.
Basically, I suggest an uninstall (preferably with something like Revo), a run of something like CCleaner to clean up any excess files.
Possibly a full anti-virus check (that could take hours, though).
Reboot the machine and THEN try to install again.
If it still fails, use Contact Us to report the problem. Only Mark and the development team can help from there. I'm just a volunteer, experienced user, with a strong software background. I have no access to code or knowledge of the deep-down stuff.
Good Luck,

Posted - 11/05/2017 : 20:19:21 Is it the pattern that won't open or the product itself? If the pattern, try using the backup. By default, a backup is made every so often while you are working and it creates a backup when you do a save command. Look for a pattern with a .bpt extension. Find that and double-click on it and it will open. If the .pat file is corrupt, this will get you back and you can save that to re-create the .pat formatted file.
