Posted - 09/03/2017 : 04:23:52 Hi,
Prior to installing PCStitch 11, I had started entering a pattern into PCStitch 10, including the setup of a 64 colour floss pallet and corresponding symbols. The pallet symbols were primarily sourced from the font types PCStitch Symbols 1, 2 and 3. Upon opening the pattern for the first time in PCStitch 11, all of the symbols had reverted to 'agency' font - this was fairly annoying, however I manually fixed most of them. The problem I have now is that I'm unable to set my preferred symbols for 15 colours because PCStitch 11 will not allow me to use PCStitch Symbols 3 - according to the error message, it is not a 'true type' font. This is frustrating, as the pattern I'm entering is quite complex and it is far easier to read a given symbol off the pattern and enter it as the same symbol into the program.
I located a post describing the same issue, however it is in reference to the move from PCStitch 9 to PCStich 10: https://pcstitch.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1351
Thanks in advance for your assistance. |

Posted - 09/03/2017 : 07:41:21 I suggest you try the same thing I advised in that previous thread -- uninstall/reinstall and if that doesn't work, contact Mark.
The default is PCStitch Symbols 3 and it IS a True Type font.
Diane There is no such thing as a stupid question
