I'm new to the world of cross stitch but not to computers, software and peripherals but I'm stumped at my current problem. :(
In short, although my pdf file (I'm using PDF Creator in PDF Architect) shows shading, for overlap, on the two left most columns, and the two top most rows of the continuation pages of a pattern. When I come to physically 'print', the printer fails to print the shading.
I have been all over the printer settings and the PCStitch options but, I'm missing something somewhere. Please help? |

I use Foxit for PDFs in general and it has a printer. I often use the printer to make smaller PDFs out of existing ones.
I used to use PrimoPDF but got so disgusted with their install when I tired to put it on a 2nd computer that I pulled it off the first one. The install was so bad that it kept adding garbage as I was trying to remove the garbage. Some pieces of software was removed 3 or 4 times before I got everything out of it!
As long as I use Foxit for most PDFs, I might as well use it's virtual printer, too!

Posted - 07/31/2017 : 17:05:15 Hi Diane,
Thank you for the replay and, please accept my apologies - I didn't mean to infer that there was a problem with PCStitch. Now that I've got my head around it, I think it's a great piece of kit (Y) I'm just stumped as to why the printer won't print the shading?
I'll try loading a different 'PDF Printer' and see if that cures the problem?
Thank you, again.

Posted - 07/31/2017 : 15:17:47 If the shading shows in the PDF file created. Then the problem is NOT PCStitch. That PDF is the same as a Print as far as PCStitch is concerned as it's created using the print option.
I would check in what your PDF printer is doing. That is where the issue is.
