I have PC Stitch 10. What would I have to do if I download the new version of PC Stitch? Would I have to transfer files from one program to the other? And how would I do that. Thanks. |

PCStitch 11 has been out for almost 2 years if I remember right. You would have to purchase and download the new version which can be run concurrently with PCStitch 10 (they are in two different folders). I think you could upgrade for a discount when 11 first came out but I don't know now. You would have to check with Mark.
As for "transfer", that's not a real issue. If you have extra palettes or floss files (such as through the now defunct myriaCross), you can just copy them from the PCStitch 10 folder to the matching PCStitch 11 folder.
For patterns, just open them in PCStitch 11. Note -- once a pattern has been saved in PCStitch 11, it can no longer be open in PCStitch 10. Each version of PCStitch can open that version and any previous version pattern but NOT any subsequent version.
