Has anybody else encountered PCStitch displaying colors really washed out? I haven't been using it long, but I'm getting so frustrated because the colors DISPLAYED in the program aren't even close to the actual colors of DMC floss. It's doing a good job picking colors, but the swatches are not accurate.

For example, I just imported an image of a cherry. The program picked decent colors for it - BR Christmas Red among others. I happen to have 2 of the floss colors in my stash and I picked them out and they are good choices to approximate the colors in my original image.

However, in the program, how it looks to me BR Christmas Red is a magenta pinkish color - nothing like it is in real life. In fact, when I looked through my Available Colors - I didn't have a single color that appeared to be actually red at all. It's really strange.

This isn't my monitor - it's definitely PCStitch. I use this computer to work on graphics, websites and photos all the time. I can switch programs and see reds perfectly fine. Any suggestions?

I've never had that issue and I've used PCStitch since version 7 back in 2004. It has always been fairly true to the color. I still think it may be the way the product talks to your graphics. Try the trial on another machine and see if you see the same thing.
