I want to make a butterfly from the library larger on a 6x6 inch pattern. How can I enlarge the butterfly

Other than using different fabric, there are no automatic ways of changing a pattern's size. You have to manually edit it to achieve that effect. If it's something of this nature, you'll have to "fill in" and "tweak" for the more complicated pattern with many more stitches.
