I've imported a picture into an 8x10 14-count pattern, using 150 different colors. I want to change the background from full crosses to half-cross. Is there an easy way to do this, or am I going to have to click on each individual stitch, find the color in the palette, and then change the stitch?

Thanks!

Nope! Sorry - no can do. Backstitches are just so different that they have to be done manually.

I realize this thread is very old, but a related question, if you would.
I have some text that is made of full stitches. Not imported, but inserted manually.
How to change them all to back-stitches? I can do the "tweak" thing, but am hoping there is a procedure whereby I select them and change them all at once. Can do?
Thanks,
Dave

An import to cross stitch ONLY creates full cross-stitches. Anything else has to be handled as "tweaking".
