I have had some issues with getting my copy of PCStitch 10 running on my machine. After several email exchanges with Mark, we finally determined it was something to do with .NET in Windows.

So, I fixed .NET, then installed the software, and launched it, and it said it was already registered to someone called 'Jason Rogers' !!!

Has anyone else had this experience?

I've searched the registry, and file system for the name, but can't see it anywhere !

Rob.

Rob,

I think you need to go back to Mark on this one. I've never heard of that message before.

The only idea I can think of is to try a full uninstall (not just what add/remove or Program Features gives you -- running the base uninstall program) but something like Revo Uninstaller to look for additional files and registry entries involved.

Revo Uninstaller has a free version that works well but only for 32 bit machines. You must purchase the Pro version to run on a 64 bit machine.

There may be other "deep-uninstall" programs that work as well.

After you clear out everything you can, reboot and then reinstall it.
