Hello group and please excuse me if this is NOT a problem, just give me the answer and laugh as you leave.

I just purchased the software today, have actually created a pattern, and have saved it on my computer. I went to make an update to it, and when I went into my text windows, everytime, all of the spaces were eliminated from what I had eneted prior to the save. Example: "Now is the time for all good men..." now looked like "Nowisthetimeforallgoodmen...". I'm using Windows XP, 4 MB RAM on a dual processor. I was able to go into the text and re-add the spaces... save the pattern, but when I went back in again to test it, I lost the spaces again.

The solution obviously is to make sure you put everything in right the first time, but I'm not that good, and was hoping I could rely on the software to ensure my consistency.

If anyone has had this problem, please let me know. If anyone has SOLVED the problem, that would even be better to know.

Thanks for your time.

After you enter the text are you 'Merging it to Background' before saving so your spacing is set and saved?

Steve,

This is not a funny problem but a very confusing one! Where were you entering the data, in the instructions, in notes or where?

If they insist on going away, I suggest you might want to contact Mark on this issue. He would have more chance of fixing it than anyone else.

Just give him all the details -- such as my question above. The more information we have, the more likely to find a solution and find it quickly.

Diane
