Your own fonts need to be "installed" into the standard font folder with all other Windows fonts. Then you can just select that font from the drop-down menu in the Symbols panel.

ok maybe i didnt explain myself so well. so i'll try again

the design will be 300 x 250 or something
and the colour count would be like 250 or something, problem being is that with my design the symbols are either getting doubled up or being used as a symbol for multiple colours, if that makes any sense,

how do i import a new symbol into the design of my own creation(i found how to make my own fonts, but not how to get them into the pattern)

thanks

PCStitch comes with 3 fonts. Any font can be used as well. Each design may have multiple fonts by you specifying the font and the symbol for each one.

Remember - since these are true-type fonts, there is a limit to how many characters are within any one font. There is no way around that limit.

If there are no fonts that do what you want, you would have to create your own true-type font.
