Hello,
Does anyone know how to modify a shared pattern or to remove it so that it can be changed then reshared?

Thank you,

Yes. The pattern is mine. Thank you for the warning.

Just be careful that if the "shared" pattern is copyrighted that you have it legitimately yourself and DO NOT distribute it yourself.

There is no such thing as a stupid question

Hello,
I found out how. One can modify the pattern on their PC and reshare it. The old pattern is overwritten. I also found that if I highlight the pattern which I uploaded I am given the option to remove it.

I should have played with it a bit more before posting the question.
Still ... it is good experience.
