Posted - 05/22/2012 : 08:41:31 Good morning,
I have been working on a photo import using new flosses that I have imported using the Floss Editor. When I save the pattern it seems to save fine, however, whenever I then try to open the pattern again the following day, the new colors that I have imported into the palette don't appear. They all just come through as one color.
Please do you have any suggestions as to why this may be happening?
Thank you |

Posted - 05/22/2012 : 12:40:38 Hi Diane,
Thank you for your reply, I will try saving the colors as a palette and see if that helps.
I also have another problem. I don't seem to be able to see the Floss Usage. Whenever I try to click on Floss Usage from the Tools menu, PC Stitch hangs and won't do anything other than close down. Is there a conflict somewhere and could this be the cause of my previous problem as well?
Thanks |

Posted - 05/22/2012 : 10:23:16 I'm not sure where it actually saves them when you save the colors. I think you need to define a "list" to put them in somewhere. That list would be the palette.
As I said, I've not used the Floss Editor much but that may be the key.

I am a little confused, I saved all the colors using the Floss Editor, does that not save them as a palette?
Thanks |

Posted - 05/22/2012 : 09:33:03 I moved the thread to the correct forum. That was no problem.
It's possible that you need to SAVE your flosses into a Palette, not a pattern and then use that palette for your pattern.
I've not use the Floss Editor much either as a stand-alone program as it was prior to this version or this built-in version so I can't say for sure but it seems logical.
