I made a pattern and the colors came out very drab and ugly. I let the machine choose the colors. I have the first model of pcstitch. I'm not real knowledgeable about color, so I didn't want to choose myself. What do I do? thanks, sherry

Every import has to be "tweaked". If you don't like a color, you can substitute all of one color with another color. Also, you can try importing again and changing the number of colors or some other parameter.

Also, be sure your image is tiny - the same dimensions in pixels as you want your final project to be in stitches -- that is, on pixel = 1 stitch!
