Hi there, I am really confused and worried, hope you can help me?

I purchased PC Stich so I could design my own fonts and save them to reuse, but whenever I try to export my design I get a warning saying it's only for personal use even though this is my own design. I don't want to click "ok" to continue because I will be using them for commercial purposes, but if they are my own designs is it ok to ignore this warning?

Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue with a pattern I designed myself as well.

I have the same problems with my patterns too! I have designed new patterns and I am having the same warning. And on below the grid, when I print them, there is my name and "Licensed to:" with nothing after.... Any help about it?

If you want to email me a copy of one of your patterns that is giving you a problem, I will see if I can figure out what the issue is.

I'm getting that message on almost all my patterns now; and I don't use any pre-charted PCStitch motifs or alphabets. Also had two patterns lock me out today - icons on toolbars go pale so you can't click on them - this is really annoying. Any ideas, please?

Yup update didn't work- I am ignoring it now though and just printing anyway.

Are you running the latest version of PCStitch 10? Try going to the Help menu and running the Check for Updates function to see if there is a newer version available. I believe that this issue was fixed in the latest update.

I get this message also, even when I have designed my own fonts on a pattern. I ignore and press ok. I figured it only applies to PCStitch fonts.

I was wondering the same thing but thought it might be because I designed the font then saved it as a stitched font that it might just be a standard message everyone gets when using a saved stitched font? I am guessing not everyone gets this message? I'll send Mark an email too, thanks for the help :)

If they are truly your designs, then personal reasons can include "commercial" reasons. It's your design and you own the copyright so you say what's done with it.

I would check with Mark as to why you are getting this message on your own designs, though.
