Posted - 01/15/2012 : 23:12:28 I created my chart.. saving as requested but when I came to print it out.. I ended up with a pile of blank pages. Has anyone experienced this, and is there something obvious that I have missed. |

Posted - 09/07/2013 : 20:04:19 You're using the normal print command, not the export aren't you? I have no idea what is going on. You might want to check with Mark on it and maybe include screenshots of the print dialog so he can see what you're trying to print.

If it won't print and the printer is available. Try printing to that printer using other software. It may not be turned on, or online. If the other software prints to it (such as Word or Excel), then I have no idea why it won't work.

The same advice - make sure the printer you wish to use is selected from the available printer list and is online. Also, try a print preview to see that you are selecting something to print.

Posted - 09/06/2013 : 10:53:40 Hi I am having the same problem bought mine yesterday and am unable to print a chart that i have converted.quote: Originally posted by Dragonlair
If you just installed it, you may not have specified the printer. Just like any product, it will only print when/where you tell it to print. Make sure the drop-down menu for the printer has the printer you need as the active printer.

Posted - 05/30/2013 : 00:59:49 If this happens for someone else just use the print/preview to export each page as an image file. If you have no trouble printing pictures then you'd have no trouble printing exports as they are saved as image files.

Posted - 01/16/2012 : 10:54:25 I believe I have set the printer properties correctly.. shall try once more, and contact Mark... Thanks for your patience |

Posted - 01/16/2012 : 10:31:08 Suen,
I suggest you contact Mark on this issue. The only thing I can think is to check what printer parameters you have specified in the Print dialog of PCStitch. However, if you see it in preview, you should see it in the printout.
Also, check the way you have the printer defined for PCStitch. Check the Printer Properties.
Beyond this, I'm lost. Mark may have more ideas.

Posted - 01/16/2012 : 07:45:45 Hello Diane, thanks for getting back to me.. I can see the print preview.. all 39 pages. I have new ink in the printer and have no problems in printing anything else on my computer..
Have had another go with the same result - blank pages |

Posted - 01/16/2012 : 07:34:32 What do you see if you do a print preview? It may be that your printer is out of ink or you have something specified wrong. You may also have a large amount of blank space and only a few stitches.
The way to know what should be printed is to do a print preview.
