I'm not very savvy with the program yet, so if anyone has tips for using the program in this way, it would be appreciated.
(P.S. here's to hoping I'm not the only one who thought of this.)

Posted - 02/25/2012 : 20:50:28 I use PC Stitch for many different projects. Just keep in mind the resulting work will be based on a grid pattern. I have scanned or photographed my own art works and used them as X-Stitch project and to make them into coloring pages.
I inport the picture to a cross stitch pattern. Then I use the Auto back stitch features to outline the different areas When done I erase the colors. however for a paint by number could it just be easier to print a symbols pattern onto a painting paper and paont over the symbols? Use sybols that are simple lines not filled in will help prevent showing through the paint.
