There are separate palettes listed for DMC metallics and Kreinik. Kreinik has several hand both have been part of the listed since at least version 7. All you need to do is select another floss item from the drop down list in Available Colors and select a color from them. Your pattern can have flosses from as many companies as you want. Just assign unique symbols to each one. Your printout will distinguish which company is which with a code.
Perhaps I was unclear: there are *no* metallics in the floss drop-down list in Available Colors. Without listing all the types of palettes, there are 4 DMC types: Cotton, Light Effects, Linen and Satin - no metallic. There are 11 types of Kreinik, none of which are metallic. I find this unusual because PCS Standard 7 *does* have DMC metallic.
It's possible that you don't see DMC Metallic as a separate entry. DMC has merged a lot of the odd specialty flosses into the one line - "Light Effects". That may be where you find them now. I may have both because it's carried along from older forms of the software as updates added such things as "Light Effects". Newer installations may have lost the "grandfathering" effect.
