Running 9.01.004 on Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

My pattern is in a grid 163W x 171H, with a centered pattern that's 142W x 150H. My print options are

* Sizing Options: Specific Stitches per Inch = 8
* Print all Grid Pages
* Print the Information Sheet is checked
* 3-stitch overlap

Looking at the pattern in Print Preview, PCS is printing the pattern in a 4x3 sheet grid where the 4th column of sheets contains only a 3-stitch (non-existent!) overlap. There's no stitch in the 3rd column that's within the overlap area.

I'm not sure when this bug was introduced, as I recently upgraded to 9.01.004.

Any help to provide a fix for this would be greatly appreciated.

Cindy,

It may be your margins or your paper size. I just created a blank pattern of the dimensions you set and the print options you listed. What I saw was a 3 X 3 + the instruction sheet, not a 4 X 3. The last 3 were only about 1/3 the page.

Also, you should check for updates. I was still at .003 and checked and I skipped right past .004 to .005.

Good Luck,

Diane

Well, I updated to 9.01.005 ... but no joy. PCS "knows" that there's no overlap because the right-hand edge of the column-3 pages don't have hashmarks.

I'm using the default margins (0.5" all around) and grid page margins (0.2 after header, 0.1 before footer, 0.25 before grid palette). Didn't mention before (my bad), but Grid Page Palette is unchecked.

Version 9.01.005 also "knows" that there should only be 9 pages because the "Grid Pages Print Range" shows pages 1 to 9 ... but it still prints 12!

I was able to work around the issue by having the program print to fit a page count (9).

I was going to suggest you remove a few rows and columns since you have a wide margin around your stitched area and that should solve the problem. Just remove some from the top and left and then center all.

Remember that you don't need to have a wide "white" area around your stitching. Only the stitched part is really needed. I usually have 2 or 3 stitches all around just to make sure I stay away from any hole-punches and for it to not look too crowded.
