PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring the "Export" option in the print preview screen back to PCStitch Pro 9. Had I been aware this feature was not in PCStitch Pro 9 I would never have upgraded to it.

This feature is important to me for two reasons... First I have to print off a printer connected to another computer (I am unable to put the program on that computer for various reasons)

Secondly I have a pattern that is 55 pages. The export feature saved me with my last large project (56 pages of pattern) when I had saved all the pages as bmp files. The project took over 12 months to complete and during that time my computer had a melt down and I lost all my saved patterns. I imported the photo to the program again and redid the pattern but with updates and upgrades the pattern was changed, colors where different, symbols were different and there would have been no way to reconcile the new pattern with the work I had already completed on the piece. It could have been a major disaster...but the saved bmp files saved the day and the project.

So PLEASE bring back the "Export" feature.

Hettie,

The Export feature does allow you to export the pattern in pieces as separate files. However, I have a suggestion that may make things even easier for you.

I suggest you download and install PrimoPDF at http://www.primopdf.com/index.aspx

This is a "virtual printer". Just "print" to it (rather than your physical printer) and you will create a PDF of ALL the pages of your pattern in one file. Then just copy that file to the computer with the printer and print it off. It will look just like you printed it from the original printer. You can create a file in several possible levels of clarity and one is "printer".

This may be the answer to your dilemma.

Good Luck,

Diane
