Hello,
I'm new at PCStitch and I took my time to look around and try a few things. My first impression is definitely a very good one, both from a hooked-on-stitching and from a software developer perspective. Also I spent some time to get the default settings just right. This is where a question came up.
I live in the Netherlands. As over here we use the metric system, I set the default unit of measure to centimeters. What I found, however, is that the cloth count is still measured in inches (nr of stitches per inch). I would expect this to be measured in centimeters also, where the number 5 would give me 5 stitches per centimeter, rather than per inch. Is there a solution to this? If not, is it possible to include this in a future update? It would be very helpful (if not plain logical).
All help will be very much appreciated.
Warm greetings, Angel

Angel,
I normally have my measurements in "stitches", not inches or centimeters. Remember that the only real use of the fabric count is for the estimate of the amount of floss and the displayed sized of the stitches.
You can specify any number you want in the count. If you know what the count is in metric units, use that. Just remember that the estimate of the floss used will most likely not be very accurate. As it's just an estimate anyway, you need to take it with a grain of sald in the best of conditions.
