I have PCstitch Pro 9 and am getting very frustrated with it. Can any one please help me. I have a chart of a lady in blue but want to change the dress and hat to pink. When I do this on the adjustments tab it also changes the skin tones from a very nice peachy complexion to a pinky/purple tone. I don't find the help and tutorial very helpfull at all. Is it just me being thick or do others feel the same.

Regards

If you are importing a photo to create a pattern, you cannot change part of the image without affecting other parts. As far as the computer is concerned, it's just one mass of pixels and it does not see a pattern.

What you need to do is import it in the original colors (keeping the facial tones the way you like) and when you "tweak" it after the import, change one color to another one by one. Just choose the main pink (and shades involved) and substitute them for the blues you currently have. It may not be easy and it's not automatic. It's a manual process.

Recommendation - save often - and maybe in several names so you have a way to back up if you change your mind.
