Running PCS Pro 9.00.016 on Vista 32.
I specified my logo in Tools->Options->Designer Information, but when I Print/Preview my pattern (including the information sheet) the logo's not there.
What am I missing this time?

Cindy,
I just did a simple test. I found and image of a little dragon to use as a logo and created a very simple pattern. At least on "Print Preview", the logo shows up in the upper right corner of the instruction page. My experiences is if it shows on Preview, it show on print.
I changed non options. I just made sure it was set to print the instruction page.

Diane, did you put the logo in the Designer Information or in the Pattern Properties? When I put the logo in Designer Information, it doesn't print out, but if I put it in the Pattern Properties it does. Is this how it works for you?

Cindy,
I think I see the problem. The Designer Information sets the default info for ALL NEW patterns. It does NOT affect existing patterns. if you set the logo in the Designer information, it does not show up for any pattern already existing. However, when you create a new one, it does show in both the Designer Information and the Pattern Properties for that pattern.
To get the logo into existing patterns, you have to manually set it in each pattern.

Diane, thanks (as always) for the clarification.
It might be good if the help text of the program were updated to specify the distinction between the Designer Information and the Pattern Properties so that others don't fall into the hole I did.

Cindy,
Actually, it makes sense this way. You don't want the properties of existing patterns to be over-written by the designer information. You may be just looking at a pattern or it may be from another designer. To have it over-write what you have as the "default" just because you load one in is really not what you want.
You set these as the defaults to use for future patterns. ALL the properties listed in Designer Information are handled the same way. It is consistent. That is also important. You definitely don't want one property handled differently than the others.

You're right, Diane, that it makes sense for the Designer Properties to operate the way they do. It still might be a good thing for the help text to actually spell it out.
