Ok this may sound a bit odd, but here goes:

Trying to print a pattern from the "Bears at Work" series. Now I DO have one that I printed from old version of PC Stitch, where the pattern takes up one page & the instructions, legend, etc is on page 2.

Trying to do that with PC Stitch Pro 9, and no matter what combination of options I have tried, it still puts the "legend" down one side of the pattern page. GRRR! I even tried printing selection only, and drawing a box around just the pattern to print that, but POOF! the legend miraculously appeared down the right side of page.. (where did it come from? it's not visible in the chart area that was selected... twilight zone?)

I know, not a terrible tragedy, but that extra "bit" makes the pattern smaller & hard to read, and the pattern itself doesn't really require a 2 page printout & the subsequent issues of overlapping etc.

Running out of hair in a hurry, any ideas? thanks!

There is a printing option that handles that situation. Look at the options > Printing. The first section "Print Grid Options", the first option on the page is Print Palette on Grid. If you un-check that, you will not get the legend on the page with the pattern but only on the separate page.
