Running PCS 9.00.010 on Vista 32. I've imported a JPG and am using the "Floss Usage" to get rid of the colors that are only used in a few blocks. For example, I had a case where there were only 3 blocks used for a color (they were *all* over the place) and I wanted to change all blocks of that color to a different one that's already in my palette.

I tried selecting the "to" color in Available Colors, then right-clicked on the "from" color in the current palette and clicked "Replace (with "to" color). Unfortunately, since the "to" color was already in my palette, I was presented with a message that indicated this and another instance of the "to" color was added to my palette. Now I've got 2 symbols with the same color in my palette!

Would it be possible to modify the program's behavior so that it simply replaces all instances of the "from" color with the "to" color (and current symbol) if the "to" color is already in my palette?

Cindy, All you have to do is Click-DRAG the color you wish to use OVER the color you wish to remove in the palette area. You will get a little pop-up window that says Replace or Cancel. If you have an "edit area" marked, you will get a choice of replacing only in the selected area or all over. There are no extra symbols used. It literally does a replace.
