I have the new Pro 9 And Standard. Someone told me if you create in Pro you can't get it in standard. I tried that and found I couldn't share my new desin with someone who doesn't have Pro. Am I doing something wrong? I now have to mark Pro on my file as not to send it to someone.

Well Duh! export to Standard! And it works. I never thought of this so I'll pass the info to my message board.
I'm having fun now.

I export to standard in general because the files are far smaller. However, remember that some features of Pro are not available in Standard - such as petite stitches, notes and so forth. If you are going to use some of the more advanced features, you will lose things when you export to standard.

Also, if you use any of the Pattern Library fonts or motifs (purchased), the recipient of the file (Pro or Standard) must also have the license for that library or they cannot open your pattern.
